How do I prepare my parts for Vapour Blasting?

Disassemble the parts, removing any brackets, bolts, bearings, dowel pins or any other ferrous metal parts you can.
2. Clean and remove most of any oil, fuel, grease, sludge, dirt etc before sending or dropping off parts. Gaskets and heavy sealants must also be removed prior to blasting, the machine will not remove them.
3. Make sure your parts are packed/bagged securely with clean rags, bubble wrap or something suitable between them to keep parts from rubbing/knocking or getting damaged during transit. If you’re shipping an engine or other whole assembly you may lightly bolt it back together for shipping if that makes it easier for you to pack it up.
